EducationUniversity of California-Berkeley - Bachelors, B.A Landscape Architecture
ExperienceI graduated from the University of California - Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture. When I'm not working as an architect, I spend my time tutoring Japanese and Chinese to people of all ages. My own educational experiences taught me the importance of working with a tutor. No matter how good you are at a subject, your schooling will come with various challenges and obstacles along the way. When you work with an experienced tutor, you're more likely to stay motivated and overcome these difficulties, so that you can work towards academic success. I believe that the best way to ensure someone reaches all of their educational goals is to have them work with a teacher who's enthusiastic and committed to seeing students succeed. For this reason, I like to get to know my students' personalities, strengths, and weaknesses, so that I'm better equipped to plan lessons that help them flourish in the classroom. Along with helping people score well on tests and gain a better understanding of their coursework, I also hope to inspire my students to have the same love for education that I developed over the years. When I'm not teaching and working, I like to spend my time reading books and gardening.
