Experience
COLLEGE STUDENTS: I teach Expository Writing to freshman and sophomore university students, and I also tutor at the college level. The majority of the college students whom I tutor have been diagnosed with learning disabilities such as ADHD, anxiety disorders, and dyslexia. I also work well with English as a Second Language students. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: I tutor approximately 2-6 high school students a week to improve their reading comprehension, grammatical skills, and essay writing techniques. I provide only academic (non test-prep) tutoring to high school students through UniversityTutor.Com. However, I would be happy to work with your son or daughter on SAT prep through the Marin-based SAT Prep company for which I work.
